Saitamask Community Questions & Answers Update

As a duty to be as transparent to our community as possible, below are up-to-date answers to common questions we are seeing. Our engineering team works tirelessly, getting everything ready to scale what we are planning for the Saitamask ecosystem. These are a collection of common questions and concerns being asked through our social media mediums. Any additional questions, do not hesitate to reach out. We value our community and appreciate the patience exercised by everyone, and we are just as excited as you are to get the platform and pending updates rolling. Security is our priority. The steps and measures taken are to ensure that security is a priority.


Question : Why am I getting a 401 error when trying to log in?Answer :  There are some regions that are still being rolled out and you will get this message. Please make sure that you delete the APP, clear you cache and reboot your phone to ensure you are up to date with the app stores. If after all the above is done and you still get a 401 error, please try to register again.

Question : Why am I getting a Network time out error when trying to log in?Answer: There are some regions that are still being rolled out and we are monitoring all traffic, and some may experience some network throttling.

Question : I have registered but the activation code has not been sent to my email?Answer : The mailing server is being optimized so there will be intermittent service. Please close the application and try again later if you have not received an email after 1 hour. Please check your spam folder as well to ensure that your email service is not blocking [email protected]

Question : After a successful registration when I tried to log in the application shuts down?Answer :  Please make sure that you delete the APP, clear you cache and reboot your phone. Reinstall the app will ensure that you are up to date with the app stores.

Question :  After importing your seed phrase and I tried to log in the application shuts down?Answer :  Please make sure that you delete the APP, clear you cache and reboot your phone and reinstall the app to ensure that you are up to date with the app store.

Question : When I log in and check the blockchain network it defaults to Ethereum Testnet?Answer : This behavior is intentional; we have set the application to default to the Ethereum Blockchain (ERC20) by default under the hood.

Question : When I try to do a swap on SaitaMask it just stays loading and nothing happens?Answer :  This behavior is intentional; we have temporarily disabled the swapping mechanism until we are 100% optimized.

Question : When I go to Cryptoassets and refresh the page or select by rank, the application shuts down?Answer :  This is being investigated at this time and will be corrected. We are working with a few API’s for analytics data provided by CMC and we are getting rate limited, we hope to optimize this ASAP.

Question : When are you expecting to have the application fully functioning?Answer :  Due to the unprecedented scale of the DDOS attack, we have had to rescale our services options which is resulting in a rolled-out approach vs. a one-time login. Whilst our app is functional, the DDOS attack has forced us to realign certain features which requires additional security and communications within our supply chain.  We appreciate everyone’s enthusiasm for this project, but protection of your assets on our platform is paramount.
